That is one of many questions I hope to find answers to during my adventure in Nicaragua. After earning an undergraduate degree in the U.S., I decided that sharing any knowledge that I could with other peoples of the world would be a favorable allocation of resources--certainly a more active role in the world than what I would discover in a cubicle.
This blog will chronicle interesting experiences and observations about my time serving with the Peace Corps in Central America. My assignment involves rural agriculture and community development. I know the people I encounter on my journey will teach me valuable life lessons and I hope to offer my new friends some valuable knowledge as well. As we work together to promote self sufficient communities, I know I will be growing as a self sufficient individual--one who relies less on the material culture that I am so accustomed to...
